Judy Donald Honored as Woods Elementary Classified Employee of the Year!

Fort Smith Public Schools is proud to recognize Media Clerk, Judy Donald, as the Classified Employee of the Year. Judy’s dedication, dependability, and unwavering support for students and staff make her an invaluable part of the Woods community.

With perfect attendance last year, Judy's presence in the library is something students and staff alike have come to rely on. One colleague shared, "While I was on maternity leave, I never worried about the library, knowing that Judy's attendance is dependable and she is always there." Her consistency and care have fostered a warm, welcoming environment where students feel supported and engaged in their learning.

Beyond managing book checkouts and troubleshooting technology issues, Judy has built meaningful relationships with students, always ensuring they have the help they need. Whether assisting with Chromebooks, offering innovative solutions, or stepping in to support colleagues personally and professionally, Judy’s kindness and problem-solving skills make a lasting impact. As one colleague described, "Judy is a positive beacon of light for everyone in the school building, and is always willing to help others."
